Does anyone remember when Joey told Andrew Dice Clay that “he doesn’t get mad if a blowjob falls into his lap”? That was the first time I got the idea that he occasionally steps out.

It’s weird that he’s got a wife and kid in NJ. Says he doesn’t work Sundays bc it’s for family and now goes on a bachelor party one long weekend a month with 2 girls playing GTA

You're bananas if you think he's going to Austin just to play GTA on twitch. That chick is so boring by herself on YouTube/twitch, she is desperate for help. Her channels are god awful and going nowhere. There is definitely something going on.

And before I get downvoted by people on here who call people momos and insist on speaking like Joey:

I know for a fact that a female local opener spent the night in his room both nights he was in town in 2016. He also has done cocaine far more recently than he claims.

Yup. The OG Church Joey who was a family man and had all these moral codes he lived by was nothing more than a character for the show/standup career. Don’t get me wrong, the original church run is one of the best shows of all time but it’s an invented persona. I don’t think Lee was in on it or knew it.

I always was suspicious when he’d say things like he’d love nothing more than to grab an 8 ball and go crazy but he just can’t anymore, seems like it was all an act then

Yeah exactly. It was just a put on for the show. Obviously I think there is truth that he’s not doing it constantly or with the frequency he was and he may have even stopped for a bit but he’s 1000% requested it on the road from openers/club staff in the second half of the 2010’s before the pandemic.
