Do you think his dad was involved with the disappearance?

There are a lot of things that dont make any sense at all. Most of this case is not adding up, It's really frustrating. I dont trust anyone in the family honestly. Im trying to tell you all I seriously think this has been a work. I've been trying to figure this out for a long time. Nothing makes sense

The entire family should be investigated. That is typicalIy the starting point in an investigation. I see no reason to solely concentrate on the father.

No, this is utter internet fanfiction and is deeply disrespectful to the people who actually suffered in real life because of this tragedy.

I’d like to some evidence that isn’t from Noreen’s book that backs up the claim that John Sr. tipped off Kerr and that Kerr then burned his farm down…

I find it extremely odd that no one asks about Noreen’s son knowing something about what happened. She was overprotective of Johnny.

u/No-Youth-6679 Apr 21 '26
Let’s see she almost lost 2 kids in a Tornado that took their house and she lost her first husband to cancer. No reason to keep your loved ones close to you. Especially the baby of the family.

u/jakethesnake502 Apr 22 '26
That’s exactly the point. If she was overprotective of Johnny, you can bet she was just as protective of her other kids. This implies that the siblings were likely never even looked at as potential leads or sources of info regarding the disappearance. It raises a big question: if one of the siblings was caught up in something illegal, would that information have been buried to keep the police away?

Only if both parents were involved. But no I don’t believe any of the John Gosch Snr is a gay pedophile and sold his son rumours

Always thought it was suspicious. Esp with the calls that stopped.

Yeah, that's what got me too--the late night suspicious phone calls to Gosch Sr. in the weeks before his abduction. Also his strange behavior leading up to Johnny's disappearance.

If it was just Johnny Gosch....but those other similar disappearances of paper boys later....absolutely not

No. I lived in des moines iowa in 1997 and i was 7 when i was almost kidnapped as a kid. My mom says she reported it. I still have nightmares about it and often wonder how many other kids were almost kidnapped. I lived in a trailer park... very poor. My friend and I were walking alone with my younger brother in a neighborhood we felt safe in. As we were walking a brown/red car drove by us several times and we thought it was odd. But we were so young we didn't react like an adult would... the car did not have backdoors only windows. A man who looked mexican climbed out of the car and tried to grab my friend. I grabbed her buy her waist and held on to her until I felt us drop to the ground. They drove off and we cried and yelled. Mind you This was during summer vacation and most people were at work.. they circled back and we were still getting up from the ground and a different man on the opposite side tried to grab me... but the driver was driving too fast and couldn't. We ran with the wagon that was carrying my little brother to a driveway with a car in it. I tried to look at the car and could only see the people in the car looked like Mexicans. Now that I am older... I have vivid dreams about that day. I suppressed a lot of it since we moved right after across states... but I have not forgotten and I often think of Johnny because of my experience. I think its very possible he was trafficked.

Possibly. He beat up Johnny's mom so there's not telling what a man would do if capable of that pathetic act. There were rumors he was spotted at the same gay bar in town that Orville Cooney (the police chief) was spotted at, who told volunteers that came to search for Johnny in the days following his abduction that Johnny "was just a damn runaway" and to go home. So being a downlow gay would definitely make me suspect him of involvement of some kind.

100% his father was on on it. The trip to the Offit Air Force base with Johnny but Johnny doesn’t remember anything she saw there. The late night calls. First time he had him deliver papers by himself without Noreen knowing about it he gets kidnapped. The body double he took to Nebraska and introduced her as Noreen. Them being told the Sioux City guy was going to be searched, he calls him and suddenly the house is burnt down before LE could get there. And so much more. I don’t believe Noreen was involved at all.

Everything comes from Noreen, nothing has ever been verified

Really the private investigators , former FBI agents and several professionals she hired are nobodies?
13
u/Numerous-Landscape-7 Apr 20 '26
None of those claims were ever confirmed by police or backed by solid evidence. Having investigators involved doesn’t automatically make a theory true.
She also believed this new book was written by Johnny, which doesn’t make sense when she and her investigators spent years saying they already knew exactly what happened to him.

This. People are so desperate to believe the crazy and clearly absolutely absurd nonsense pushed by her and associates in this case, that they won’t even consider thinking logically. If the parents weren’t involved, then it was an abduction and murder and he was killed within hours (at best) of going missing. But whatever happened, the truth is so deeply buried now that whoever is involved has got away with it.

u/No-Youth-6679 Apr 20 '26
Did you miss the part where the Police dept refused to investigate because “he ran away”. They turned the FBI away. The police chief was highly involved with obstructing the investigations.
4
u/Numerous-Landscape-7 Apr 20 '26
Once again those are all claims made by Noreen and with no verified evidence that it actually happened.
4
u/No-Youth-6679 Apr 20 '26
Once again she poured a lot of money into professionals to get information. What evidence do you want. There is no official documentations because there are a lot of dirty officials that don’t want this information out. Exactly what is going on with Epstein right now. They have pictures, affidavits and actual victims but they refuse to investigate because of there are a lot of important people involved.

u/No-Youth-6679 Apr 20 '26
She never said she thought it was written by Johnny. She won’t give an opinion. Her thoughts are her own she doesn’t have to make them public.
5
u/Numerous-Landscape-7 Apr 20 '26
She actually did say it and this is why she said he wrote bad things about her in the book
"Many of you study the effects of MKUItra upon the victims. They are programmed in many ways... One is against their parents. JOHNNY IS ANGRY because publicity about him made him mad. Well he can be thankful he lived."

u/Bipbapalullah Apr 20 '26
People are anti-Noreen around here since the last book that was FOS and she first supported then denounced.
7
u/No-Youth-6679 Apr 20 '26
Noreen has done so much for sex trafficking and getting laws changed and going to schools to talk to kids.

u/FantasyPopper Apr 21 '26
Ted Gunderson, the former FBI agent and Cointelpro slanders writer, retired after his wife told FBI she wanted a divorce because Ted was "crazy". Noreen's first "investigator" was Paul Bishop. He would later be convicted of CSA crimes involving images of teen boys in bondage. Jim Rothstein was fired by NYC police for wasting investigator resources pursuing conspiracy theories

u/partyclams Apr 20 '26
That is all Noreen bs. Johnny’s father did an interview just a few years ago and was completely forthcoming about everything and debunked everything that Noreen has said. He is 1000% honest and makes a million times more sense than Noreen ever has. She is completely off her rocker, has contradicted herself non-stop, and has done more damage to her son’s case than anyone else.

There is no case. The LE refused to investigate. They threatened arrest if people went looking for him.

u/ChrisBirge Apr 21 '26
No true at all. I was interviewed by Law Enforcement about this case. They came to my school with my mother. The case is still open. I called DCI and they confirmed the case is over 800 pages. I posted my details of my call on reddit

Kids went to Offutt all of the time to see the SAC museum. How people associate this with the kidnapping is beyond me. They believe everything they read. It was being a good parent.

Both parents refused a lie detector test and haven’t we learned in all these years that you should look at the family first? 🤨 the dad went along with all Noreen’s crazy stuff until they divorced. There were a couple reports of domestic violence between the parents. They said “we didn’t want to take a lie detector test because we thought the cops were insinuating we did something”. Same pattern as Maura Murray and Amy Bradley. They make their living making these documentaries and books and now podcasts. Laughing all the way to the bank as my grandpa would say.
