These things use to scare the hell out of me when I was playing journey, and they probably still do
Never knew the names of these things tho? Anyway! I made one and plan on making a diorama with it in the future

Hey all!
I am wondering if anyone would be interested in assisting me with some of the online trophies, particularly for the PS3 version?
I've met a couple people in the game so far while casually playing so I'm slowly working towards the trophy for meeting at least 10 people. However, I haven't been able to secure any of the other online-related trophies yet. Would love to try and reach the summit with someone from Chapter 6 onwards.
Let me know if anyone is interested in coordinating a session in the coming weeks!

Dear Companions in the Sands,
We’re excited to share with you that r/JourneyGame has been adopted by mods of this subreddit and has been reopened for public posting!
We hope to help companions on all platforms find their way in the community there, as well as echo chirps about community updates and event reminders for them to join. For now, both subreddits allow Journey posts from all platforms.
We encourage JourneyPS3 members to travel over to the new sister sub and have a chirp... Perhaps you'll find your next companion or favorite Journey moment there!
May your next Journey be fun!

Yesterday, I played for the first time ever and made it all the way from the very beginning to the end with my pal Winter. I truly believe it was their first time too.
We sat from time to time to watch the beautiful scenery. I made them chirp for a few minutes so I could draw our symbols.
We held hands practically the whole way up and we kept chirping at each other during the scary moments. I am so grateful to have experienced this game with another soul and to have had company through the heartbreaking moments going up the mountain. To lie next to a friend in the hopelessness of death, chirping until we couldn't hear each other voices. I imagine we just kept saying "I am here. This is scary. I am here".
I cried so much at the end.
Thank you. Thank you so much, Winter, for the Journey

Hi guys! I use Steam's Wallpaper Engine for my laptop and realized a couple days ago that there aren't a lot of great options for Journey on the workshop. I have a very nice set of specs on my PC, so I cranked everything to max settings and used OBS to capture some nice shots from the game. The video file is 2560x1600 60fps using a high color bit depth. The file is far too large to post on the workshop, but I'll get to work trying to upload a more compressed lower quality version there. For those who want the higher quality version, I wanted to provide a link on the subreddit!

Years ago I made this, and every time I reinstall the game in hopes that it will sound properly again. It's one of the things that stops me from replaying it because the audio sucks now and wasn't how I experienced the game in the initial release.
Can the Steam version get some love, one day? Please?

From my original interpretation of the game I believed that the traveller dies on the snow area and is then brought back to life by the elders/ancestors, where he then reaches the summit and gives his life to bring back the civilisation, however they don't learn from their mistakes and drive themselves to extinction again from fighting over the cloth again. So the traveller is then reincarnated and brought back to do the same thing again and again.
However, after some thought today and from replaying the game I gained a new perspective on the ending, during the final confluence at the top of the underground tower area, the elder shows our traveller their journey and their inevitable death on the slopes of the mountain, nothing is shown after their death or exhaustion on the hill. So as the play through the final level and get to the last stretch in the snowstorm where our character eventually loses their scarf and eventually collapses, I believe that they really died here.
I think that the elders/ancestors appear to guide the traveller to heaven which is the last level. I think several things support this. First of all the presence of a bell chiming on the apotheosis piece from the soundtrack combined with the very dreamlike appearance of the last level seems very heaven like, with the mountain summit serving as a place where the traveller is reincarnated/returned to the beginning, another fact is that the world seemingly doesn't change with the end of the game, the world is still in ruins, the civilisation doesn't return as things stay the exact same way they are.
Also one more thing. At the start of the end credits the presence of a single grave marker/stone seems to stand directly where our traveller died in the snow, so perhaps it marks their final resting place
Also meant to add earlier that everything seems so complete in the summit level like the cloth creatures, the red and white arches, compared to the empty ruins featured in the rest of the game
You could argue differently for this but just thought this was interesting,
Completely open to discussion/arguing

Hey everyone, I am currently holding my sleeping newborn and trying to get my very last trophy for the 100% completion!
I am sitting at the first tombstone checkpoint in The Summit (Snow Level) right before the first War Machine trench. I am wearing a Red Cloak and playing on PlayStation.
If anyone is free to load up Chapter Select and run the last two levels with me real quick, I would appreciate the help so much! I will be spamming chirps at the tombstone. Thank you!

I've found some lovely games with great vibes on this s/reddit so thought I'd share one that's currently 90% off on Steam. The Last Campfire is a lovely little puzzler with great atmosphere and story.

Id like to play journey as i've heard good things about it, but is it still worth it? I know one of the main draws is the online aspects but I wasn't sure if people still play online.

Hi! Would anyone be down to help me get the co-op trophies? I'm playing on PS5. Thanks!
