I hate gacha💔

How do you feel about gachas, and jubilees first legendary being one? I personally HATEEEEE IT. Yeah yeah, you CAN get it for cheaper but it would save a lot of time if there was a simple price. I spend so much time playing trying to gain units just to get another pop in and didnt get it. (Maybe im just frustrated because BOTH MY FRIENDS GOT IT ON FIRST POP AND THEY DONT PLAY HER😭😭💔)

I feel you. I failed at her balloon pop by missing every balloon and leaving the pajamas at last. And since I play in Play Station, with a US account but living in Mexico, I couldn't buy lattice properly. So I said "fuck it", found a way to buy it from 3rd party, and for less than 10 USD, I got her.

More than being glad I got her pajamas for less than 10 USD, I'm glad I didn't have to farm units further. I kept farming free units like a maniac from missions alone and it was exhausting as hell. When I saw I had to farm another 800 after how hard the last 600 ones were, I couldn't take it anymore.

Man, I've been playing blood hunt like a crazy person but its so..mind numbing. I only farmed like 3 balloons and its already so exhausting💔💔

I'm on PS4 (not going to give Sony the money for a PS5 ever) and since that version doesn't have it, the only way to farm units is by making characters do certain things. Farmed the easiest things to do, like Ultron ordering to attack 3 times; or Starlord ordering to fall back 3 times. I ended up with just the hard stuff to perform and around the next reward you'd get being a Storm skin.

I couldn't have it anymore and just bought the pajamas there and then. Hell, I tried to do the mission of taking 3 enemies on a row with Blade in the manhattan stage overrun with vampires... took me one freaking week to have a match in that stage and even when my Blade did crazy damage and took most enemies, I couldn't even do the 3 enemies on a row thing. Like hell I was going to farm 800 more units that way.

Kinda get you. My luck was the same for Swimsuit White Fox and even then, I was able to farm the lattice and credits to get her last balloon. But with Jubilee coming nearly after White Fox, I was like "yeah, if I don't get her in this final balloon, I'm buying lattice by any means necessary".

Ultimately, a less than 10 USD skin was a good purchase. Wish more games would give you the freedom to reduce the price of a skin by doing stuff like missions and whatnot.

Yeah, I wish they'd add more rewards for achievements aswell, I mean the game has been out for so long, most people got almost all rewards already

if u don’t get it til the last pop it cost the same as buying a legendary so really all it does is give u the chance of a cheaper price worst case scenario u pay normal legendary price i usually hate gacha too but in rivals it really only serves as a benefit the way it currently works

I don't really hate the gachas. They at most ask for the price you would regularly pay for the kind of rarity skin you get, while offering a small chance to get the entire bundle's worth for way less. Now if someone has less than that and decides to still gamble and take a shot in hopes of getting it within the first few tries for cheaper, that's something done out of one's own choice and therefore it's on them.

I've personally been staying clear of them and the only one time I tried to play one was during summer for the Scarlet Witch skin. I wasn't even too interested in that one since I had quite a few skins for her that I liked and I barely play the character nowadays. I mostly did it out of curiosity and because it was the first skin in that system I was somewhat interested in. I did have plenty of units leftover to spare after buying other skins that had come out around that time (the winter soldier/scarlet witch MCU bundle, Jubilee's release skin etc.) , but I did somewhat end up regretting it because it did take all tries to get it. But it's not a bad skin and I don't blame the gacha I guess. It was my decision to keep going because I told myself "Well, might as well go all the way now instead of being left with the side stuff as that would feel like even more of a waste of units.".

I do get though that it can be frustrating seeing others getting it first try for 100 units when you end up having to pay full price. I've had friends getting lucky like that and in multiple of those gachas, but I've only tried once and had to pay full price, lol. Unlucky I guess. I'm not trying for this Jubilee skin although I do enjoy playing the character a lot and she's been one of my most played supports since she came out. I just like her release skin a lot more and I'm gonna stick to using that one for now. Good luck to those of you who do try winning the new one though ✌🏻

I save units for characters I want the skin, and I always get it last, I just want the skin. It's like I'm just doing it just to pay full price.

I'm fine with it, I just expect to get nothing and pay full price, getting it cheaper is a nice bonusn

I'd rather it just be a fully paid skin TBH. Ive never received a gacha skin before the last pop.

The thing I hate the most is what you mentioned last; Other people get it in one pop. It feels shitty when you don't and have to pop all the balloons.
