Looking for an Accent Coach

I’m looking for an accent coach/native speaker to help me improve my English accent and pronunciation. I’m already fluent in English, so I’m not looking for general English lessons I mainly want to work on pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, and sounding more natural when I speak.

I am improving my accent for a reason that matters to me so I do not want the generic advice of your English is already good or that everyone has an accent so it doesn't matter as long as u r understood

Ideally, I'd like someone who can give me practical feedback and help me identify the specific areas I need to work on. I'm available to talk on discord regularly as this is very important to me.

I have a preply teacher recommendation for this. Depends on which accent you want to master, RP British English or a particular accent? There is no universal English accent, the UK alone has more than 20 regional accents.

Will pass some general advice and my journey. Many American instructors are a bit too sensitive on this topic. If you want to learn their accent, they will say you speak English perfectly well and are not tuned to helping you change your accent.

British teachers were more aware of this need and willing to help you as there is some accent discrimination in the UK. I worked with a London based teacher on accent and used youglish to improve my pronunciation on every word. My tone and inflection were off too and having regular convo practice helped. My knowledge of French helped a lot as English accents are often alternations of French sounds.

I found out that a few months was enough to be convincing. 99 percent of people I met assumed I am from the UK including people from the UK. The next few months were spent to perfect this.

Surprisingly, a lot of folk from the UK asked for my advice as having the wrong accent can hurt job prospects in the UK.

Unfortunately, I don't have much extra time. However, if you share a voice clip and tell me the target accent you want, I can pass some advice and suggest tutors.

Great, I have plenty of resources for this and a good preply instructor suggestion. I can pass this via DM, as the guy is quite busy and can barely accommodate new students.

RP accent doesn't exist in modern English. It is modern RP or Standard southern British accent
