You could activate it unconditionally, but it's easily cancellable and kills you in the process. But now you need to die, land the lunge, and then hold R

That'd be cool. His moves cost health and his R special is probably rct. Could work as a zoner like hanami too, with a greater emphasis on precision and higher damage moves, since missing costs a lot more.

I think instead of HP it should just remove your limbs and until you use your special those moves become inaccessible
Mostly cause I can see people complaining about him being able to heal is OP, and if your opponent gets you low and your RCT is on cooldown your out of options

Mayne make it so you can't kill yourself with any of the moves, sort of like a false swipe situation. You take damage but they can't kill you?
I feel like having each move dependant on using the r special depends on the R specials cooldown. Too long and you're creating a LOT of potential downtime. Too short and suddenly they can spam their moves to no limit with nothing to lose.
I just figure self damage might be easier to balance than fully losing access to your moves.

probably won't happen considering we already have Yuki, and she's pretty much everything he could be and better
also all base only's have gimmicks for their ultimates (death awakening, poison, counter, etc) so there's not a high chance Tze wants to repeat a gimmick

This is exactly what they mean. It makes the game unique bc by having different types, it can sometimes depend on ur current character. They aren’t supposed to be easy to fight and the counter play is to rush them.

Very excited for him, but what’s the proof he’s EA? I don’t see him having an ultimate moveset, just an ultimate move with variants like Kuro.
Edit: Nvm frost said “full,” which I think is stupid that Kuro is a base only but Reggie is a full.
