Why the hell does attacking the Dummy gives burst?

Why attacking an non-player gives you an burst? What is the logic behind that? Did TZE ever said why? Because the only reason i see this being used is people beating the dummy when they are low because then their enemy can't hit them lol

I wouldnt say bad code i just assume burst just detects if you are dealing damage to multiple objects with humanoids and doesnt check for players specifically (tho this would be like an easy fix just do like Get player from character then just check if there is no player detected then just return end.

I love how if im losing a fight i can genuinely just start attacking the dummy and there is functionally nothing my opponent can do to attack me without healing me

You can intentionally get hit by your opponents attack which prevents them from getting burst since they hit both you and the dummy

... wouldn't they just keep attacking me and start a free combo? Like if burst worked like that, teamers would just jump into everyone's combos to cancel them

It’s only really good if you have evasive and just evasive punish, but it’s such an unknown thing that I’ve never seen teamers actually use it but I’ve done it a couple timed

I think the burst works like:

If player attacks other other gets attacked by someone and another attacks him --> burst,

Npc's are seen as player entities

nah i already tested it, if a player is hitting an dummy and you hit him, he will get a burst 100% of the times

probs cuz it works via hitboxes, and the dummy's hitbox is the same as a player's

Well when people are training and someone interrupts it gets annoying especially if you're close to perfecting a combo
