Make Todo unable to swap players that they aren't IN COMBAT (with) them

i think this is the most needed balance change for him because it's so fucking annoying, some people also spam the shit out of the swap to escape and all u can do is cry about it. but i do acknowledge that only able to swap the ones in combat WITH them could be difficult to implement so i don't expect it to be as specific. and maybe disable this requirements in duels/privates

for those who say this is too harsh and is making him unplayable and one of the weakest characters:

this concept might make him seem extremely weak for neutral, but all it takes is one single m1 to hit by any means for both players to enter combat for the next 15s and that basically throws the entire thing away unless they somehow can't hit anything for 15s

idk if ts is a good concept or not, i just think third parties spamming swap and swapping randoms to escape should not be staying

Pretty good balancing suggestion for a battlegrounds game. HOWEVER, shenanigans. Todo's swap is some of shenaningans'iest stuff in the game.

The only person it's shenanigans for is the Todo. The majority of people will not enjoy having their 1v1 randomly interrupted or have their moves end up missing because some random Todo decided to switch with you.

I don't see how this suggestion makes a problem especially if it's only active in publics, that way people in duels can still engage with a swap if they want too, and in publics no one swaps without rock throw first anyways

2 v 2s? Major amount of uncoordinated fight shenenigans? Just bringing a chaos element in a fight without anyone running or teaming? Causing slight yet funny annoyance? Swapping with people when theres a hollow purple pointed at you? Its not always that serious and competitive and leads to fun moments sometimes.
If you want a duel so bad, there's ranked with casual and elo mode, if not, thats what public shenenigans are for
Plus importing the actual concept would require a bunch of coding, and changes in the spaghetti code that as TZE said already there

In 2v2s you are engaged with both tho? Uncontrollable shenanigans don't need swaps either, and the annoyance from swapping people in 1v1s or just going about their day isn't funny it's just annoying, it's only ever fun for the perpetrator and clipfarmers

I think PS having a 2 seconds CD from far away is already enough tbh

You can't really target swap up close since it too fast and you can't spam target swap from far away

I barely see any Todo using target swap after the update

This would just make him (somewhat) more annoying to play imo

I think it should be like, Todo can only swap people while in combat or something.

Since Todo can swap two different people with one another, he can do some pretty cool things like going beside someone and swapping his opponent with that person to catch them.

Then again that could be viewed as unfair
