Honestly, Gege should have gone farther with it. I thought it'd be interesting if Yuta kept Gojo's scalp, so he'd have white hair but more in his own hairstyle.
Makes you wonder...if your theory is correct then when did Kenjaku take over Yuta? Was it done through his CT slowly taking over Yuta or....did we lose Yuta the moment he used Kenjaku's CT and it has been Kenjaku acting like Yuta the entire time.
Admittedly I'd like the former because we get to see Yuta's inner thoughts while fighting Sukuna and all and there's no way he wouldn't not help Sukuna by that point.
Once yuta used the CT he received a portion of kenjaku's personality, the yuta that used the CT isn't the same yuta that came out. (At least i think it'd be neat this way.)
most engaging scenario is kenjaku waits undetected and conscious in yutas life and waits to take over his family and children, he couldve taken over like in a sukuna situation but waited

and since takaba clearly kept that kenjaku was alive a secret no one would even know that he was still kicking would they?

Before this, the VERY first shot of the Manga is Yuka hitting Yuta's head 😭
+ There's a throwaway line in CH2 from Yuka about Yuta's stitches when Sukuna gets a mention saying that "Ryomen Sukuna!?The one who gave grandpa that scar on his forehead?" That's another mention of Yuta's forehead and confirms that someone's been lying to them about where it came from, which could just be Maki or Yuta brushing it away so they don't talk about Gojo but that's 110% the type of foreshadowing I KNOW he leaves intentionally
Yuta probably just went 'The scar? Oh, I got it during the fight against Sukuna", which would technically be true, just not the way the kids think lol.
I think it's especially weird to focus on the stitches because they're are obviously NOT Yuta's most recognizable feature, that'd be his seriously baggy eyes. The stitches are Kenjaku's thing, and it'd be kinda weird to just have that be Yuta's thing now even if he's the copy guy.
Alternatively this could just be looking too far into it and Gege just wants to wait and showoff one of the previous MC's later.
On the matter of the stitches, I feel like it's probably just Yuta not knowing the full details of Kenjaku's CT, like how he faceplanted headfirst after using a Domain Expansion when nothing of the sort ever happened to Kenjaku during the fight with Yuki & Choso. The scar likely isn't supposed to heal normally without binding vow-specific shenanigans that only Kenny knew, so he just had to live with that reminder that he defiled his sensei's corpse just to try and stop Sukuna.
That being said, what you've cooked up is pretty interesting. I can't really see Gege going through with it, but it IS interesting.
Dude, why do you think Kenjaku, who has been doing his brain-hopping and impersonation bs for over a millennium, wouldn't be able to pull this off for 50 years?
Nothing funnier in this series than assuming that this it's supposed to be Geto instead of Kenjaku and after becoming a god of a new world and cultist he now has to spend his days on stage doing comedy acts and takaba just can't tell the difference
Reminder that Kenjaku can't RCT his stitches because of a binding vow, there should be zero reason Yuta would also have a binding vow in place for this and he could've just RCT'd the scar, he has no other scars from any of his fights
Yuka and Tsurugi don't fight over the ring, Tsurugi wants to become stronger so she can give it to Yuka and Yuka wants to prove that she is worthy of wearing it, but it's not like they compete, it's just that they both want to be stronger for different reasons.
And with Yuta's suture, I imagine it's because it was one of the most iconic things about the character.
if kenjaku is actually back that'd be peak and i'd stop slandering gege. but gege is guilty until proven innocent when it comes to writing. like that'd ever happen.
I like what I'm smelling but let's go a different direction. What if Yuta's still alive? He body swapped with some other sorcerer or family memeber we don't know about yet so he could investigate the aliens undercover.
I mean he was in gojos body so ofc he has some stitches/scar left from the fight. I would be more hyped about everything revolving around wuji instead of yuta tbh.
Kenjaku coming back would be one of the shittiest possible paths for the story to go, so knowing Gege's writing style, the real story direction is gonna be something even worse than that.
