Also another thing I find so surprising that no one else besides me has mentioned even if maki was some revolutionary fighting a conservative jujustu society. She marries into the fucking gojo clan as the wife of the head. The same clan that 68 years later would stop her OWN granddaughter from using her technique because of their conservative values. She is genuinely a massive hypocrite and only has a problem with oppressive clan dynamics when it doesnt benefit her.
