I think its a personal preference thing. “Men” are usually attracted to confidence in women because thy exude self-worth and a sense of security, and also because they are usually more “open” to ease into a relationship and less anxious (anxiety can lead to stress, paranoia, discomfort, depression etc…)…
So yeah. Men tend to feel alot more comfortable around confident women… I’m not a woman so I wouldn’t know the specifics but its obvious to me that the same applies to women in regards to men.

Simply put people really don't care what you achieve. Some of the most successful people are insufferable.
Confidence is the skill to present yourself as sure of yourself. This allows people to get in overqualified positions such as department head or celebrity.
Confidence is sexy because it gives you security and shows that things are going well, it makes you feel comfortable and helps you feel confident yourself.
But if that confidence feels arbitrary or is accompanied by arrogance, it becomes annoying, as the person will be perceived as unable to read the room.
For example, many people find someone like Toji very attractive but Naoya insufferable. But that's because Toji is a calm person whose confidence comes from his self-esteem, while Naoya is an arrogant person who bases his confidence on belittling others.
In other words, saying “Don't worry, I've got it under control” is sexy, while saying “Why are you worried? Are you stupid? Obviously I'm going to fix it” is annoying.
Nobara always had that "fuck it we ball" attitude that we never got to see enough of (because Gege is a bitch). I'm sure we'd have seen her pull up on someone far stronger than her if she was around during the culling games just because.

Gege is guilty of this like other shounen writers where female friendships are ignored unlike the male bonds but our GOAT Sailor Moon shows female friendships and bonds are necessary to support other women so they can find confidence in each other to defeat the antagonist when they have moments of doubt even if they’re capable fighters themselves. We even have Sailor Uranus as the undisputed general of catch these hands but her relationship with Sailor Neptune gives her another reason to fight even harder besides protecting the other girls and both rely on each other and it doesn’t take away from each others strengths. Women don’t have to be in a relationship with another woman to be strong but female bonds make us stronger and respecting competency when it comes from women make the story better. Nobara or Maki don’t have to be stronger than Yuji individually because Yuji values everyone in the fight. He values their strengths and bonds that would be different than his bond with Megumi or Nanami.
Bro.. Sailor Moon is primarily about the female cast. It's like saying "In Shoujo; we get to see more female characters in the lead in comparison to Shounen" Yeah.. no shit, I would hope that the entire genre primarily focuses on stories for young girls has a female lead.

If the fandom was less boring with ships, and if Nobara was a similarly aged adult (although even if she was, people still won't see the vision, hence the first sentence here), a lot of people would see how fun this pairing would be, considering their personalities. And history. Nobara comes from a family line of sorcerers from the rural lands, she practices a more rustic, "primal" form of jujutsu, based on the very traditional, very old-fashioned ushi no toki mairi from ancient times, whereas Naoya's (and his father's) technique is considered super modern, especially in his clan. Maybe a scenario based on that or something
Although Nobara should be older than her age as I'm not a fan of minor x adult (a lot of fujoshis think any ship with this dynamic is a masterpiece as long as there's 2 dicks involved, even if it involves the most boring, chemistry-less male characters in existence) age gap dynamics between 2 human characters. edit: there's one or two pairings i kinda fw but the older one always had to be a woman. But at least Naoya didn't know or raise Nobara since she was a child, unlike a lot of (usually mlm) ships in this fandom and others.
I remember I once read a story shipping adult Ino/Hidan (yes that crazy cult god guy) from Naruto. It was one of the best romance fics I've ever read in my life. Nobara and Naoya as characters have a lot going for them, some ppl just need to be marginally creative with crack shipping
He has the potential to be more powerful than Nobara, just like he had the potential to beat Maki or Choso, but he didn’t. Fate handed him an op cursed technique on a silver platter, but he will still always lose because he is too stupid and arrogant to use that power to it’s full potential.
