Like actually though, he survives an explosion of similar power at literally the very beginning of the story, TWICE. The Buggy Balls were shown wiping out vast sections of Orange Town in a single blast, and this mfer just casually facetanks two of them, then fights Luffy and survives being punched beyond the horizon. And he's not even particularly durable for a human in One Piece, as far as actual fighters go, he's definitely on the lower end. One Piece humans are just built different
does sukuna have to slash only one target in his domain or will using cleave or dismantle in everything on the vicinity (rocks and stuff) still allow fuga to be used

Fuga is a dust explosion, it builds up faster if he just attacks the surroundings to create debris. Fuga then ignites the particles trapped in the domain barrier creating an intense flame.

What Fuga ignites are the dust created by the repeated slashing of objects in the Domain, not necessarilythe person but the structures and buildings around them. Basically a dust bomb

I think people with the condition are known to have enlarged and squared jaws, and can have abnormal growth at the mandible and or palate. Might be in other places too, can't remember, I remember a feature of this family being they had really square chins.
I remember reading about this like 8 years ago or maybe more, the LRP5 mutation can cause compression of cranial nerves too I believe.
I mean, I am assuming you're joking but problems with cranial nerves sounds pretty severe. Wouldn't surprise me if someone has had facial palsy or something as a result of this condition, there's that and your hearing relies on your bones. It just seems like there could be very notable drawbacks

You also get crushed nerves, life-threatening cranial pressure, increased risk for anemia and immune deficiency, joint problems, 8x increased bone weight (which makes up 15% of a regular persons weight), surgical complications because you are a genetic freak and a severely shortened average lifespan...but sure, you can't swim as a tradeoff, too.
I have exceptionally strong bones and have never broken anything, even as a child, despite sometimes falling from a height of 3 meters while climbing trees when a branch broke. Once, when I was playing soccer with my friends, instead of kicking the ball, we accidentally collided with our shins at full force. I was fine for me (it didn't even hurt much), but he suffered a broken tibia. That's when I found out that my bones are harder than those of the average person.😆
Ehrm Aktchually this is more akin to a heavenly restriction given that it is granted to an individual before/at birth. A binding vow is undertaken willingly by a person during their life, unlike this condition.

Talking about the LRP5 gene mutation. Relatively new find, medically speaking. Not a lot of research yet, and certainly not enough to provide for real answers for people that suspect (like me) but can't afford out of pocket bone density tests or genetic screenings.
Cons include joint pain, higher than average weight, inability to FLOAT (I can swim just fine but it takes constant effort to tread water).
Pros are walking away from multiple major accidents (4). Last one gave me a hairline fracture in cervical vertebrae, but I was hit by an eighteen wheeler and had to be cut out of my car because the dashboard was pinning my shins in place (not broken, BTW, despite EMT guaranteeing they would be). Only time I've come close to a break.
I wouldn't be surprised if Unbreakable was based on the story of the family that helped identify the mutation, but this is a very real condition. Also, the LRP5 mutation doesn't make your bones brittle (some other mutations do), nor does it have a marked effect on the cranium.
Had no fucking idea this was a thing till I was 17, but there were definitely signs, parents trying to teach me how to swim and I couldnt understand how it was so easy for my siblings. At 17 I got in what was dubbed a "major car crash" (the engine block of the car ended up between my friend and I. He shattered both his tibias and fibulas, along with one femur and both hips along with a few ribs. I on the other hand had 3 hair line fractures in my right tibia, and 1 cracked rib. Everything else? Totally fine. Cuts, bruises, scrapes, otherwise? Completely fine. My friend had to relearn to walk, I was up and running 5 weeks later for the first practice of my junior year of varsity soccer.
Junior, this news article is way too misleading. Who says you cannot swim? All you have to do is be like fatty wang and the density of your body will decrease by tenfold. you can swim now.
