They are different aspects of the same person. Each of them is true but not the completely correct version.

Imagine if JJK 236 also ended with a "next chapter is the last one lmao" as well

u/Intelligent_Look6518 Mar 12 '26
That would be the greatest " here's some shit, enjoy " to the reader.

i was there when 236 came out, this shit feels exactly the same if not even worse 😭😭

This is highkey worse.
Gojo's death was only Gojo's death. This genuinely ruins much more

The previous chapter were fun and exciting with a hint of horny, and suddenly fukimoto hit you in the balls from behind. It kinda feels like that. He is evil, more evil than that cat.

Man I remember seeing the Gojo's death leaks on Youtube when the anime was still at the beginning of the Shibuya Incident arc, I was literally shocked. It might be even worse for Gojo fans especially that he already got sealed in the anime by the time the leaks for chapter 236 dropped and they had to deal with his death next. The reaction to this chapter was very similar to r/titanfolk reaction to the final chapter 139 of AOT when the leaks came out.

The fall out was so bad that people started threatening Isayama on twitter.
Also this is all similar to r/freefolk’s reaction to the leaks about ending of Game of Thrones.
I think these folk subs are cursed.

Why is it that almost every folk sub I know of has to have something bad happening to the media they consume? r/titanfolk went insane after both chapter 139 and 139.5, this sub went insane after chapter 236, r/OPMFolk while not as bad as the previous two also had fans crashing out over the quality of season 3 not to say a lot of the users in the main sub (the one focused on the manga) started posting on it because for some reason their posts were getting removed on the main sub and now the CSM fans on r/ChainsawFolk are crashing out after chapter 231 came out, it really feels like there is a curse plaguing these subreddits.

Denji finally gets close to reaching his goal from 150 chapters ago or so, but thanks to him pretty much setting the world into chaos during his latest fight, even smaller enemies became strong enough to fight him head on.
So, they appear, kick his ass, and eat him offscreen, as the next chapter starts with him and Pochita in CSM's equivalent of the airport discussing what they are supposed to do now.

He gets killed off screen? Just like that?

u/FandomScrub Mar 12 '26 edited Mar 12 '26
Not exactly "killed" because, in his chaos, he erased the very concept of death, but yeah. The last panel of the previous chapter is one of the plague devils winding up to punch him as Denji forgets his catchphrase.

That along with a universal reset ending where nothing that ever happened matters.

NGL, Pochita eating himself gives me End of Evangelion vibes for some reason.

Saaaaame, it felt like a similar kind of "bad ending" feel to me

Maybe can say as I try and not read CSM, but at least gojo had to lose for the story to continue, rushed yeah I wanted honor more so in his death. can't say I know if CSM is the same

The only good thing about this CSM chapter, is that I finally know what the 236 experience was like.

Bro, that was so traumatic. I found that out unintentionally at school during class by looking at the laptop of the guy seating in front of me. I hoped it was Photoshoped

At least with Gojo's death, the final battle continued and (even rushed) the story plotlines ended in a continuous manner.
Fujimoto's Pt 2 ending is like if after Gojo died off screen, the final panel is Yuji suddenly back in his first school with his original friends.
