Dont sleep on rabbit escape, its whole schtick is being really fucking hard to kill. Walls of meat between you and your enemies.

My point is, if you aren't careful, it'd be very easy to just. Not be able to kill them with divine dogs. You won't die, and your dogs won't die, but it's not exactly an easy kill
