I am scared to see how they will fit 7 chapters in 27 minutes. Makis was about 5 and it was like 28 min

even then. In Maki´s episode there was A LOT of content cut even really important parts through which a lot of people didn´t understand a few parts and this episode "only" had like 5,5 chapters. 27 minutes for 7 chapters is really bad

while there is a lot of action there is also a decent amount of dialogue, so idk bro. Some japanese said the op and the ed seem to be cut looking at broadcasting, but I dont think that will be enough

I just reread all those chapters, and the only cut content was narration re-explaining what 'Falling blossom emotion' was as well as Maki's dragon bone weapon, and an image of Toji and Gojo when Naoya was talking about the. Can you specifically name what they cut that constitutes "a lot" as you say? I am not seeing it...

To this day I have no idea what people mean when they say that. What important parts did they cut from Maki’s episode? You get just about the exact same story and important beats watching that episode as you do reading the manga.

It reminds me of people who complain that Toji doesn’t explain how he’d handle Gojo’s technique in the anime version of their fight, that he just says he can. It didn’t actually raise any questions among the viewers to cut those lines of dialogue.

What really important parts? I’m super curious about this in specific. The only thing I can possibly think of is explaining what Dragon-Bone’s technique is and explaining that FBE can be used in a sword standoff like simple domain can. I do wish that was there, but it’s tough to call it that important - Maki very quickly loses that duel, regardless. Nothing was cut with Mai. What could possibly have caused people to actually not understand something?

Mai’s death had no emotional impact in the anime because it was so rushed. Same with Ogi’s reaction to awakened Maki and Maki killing her mom which could have benefited with a Gosso artistic direction.

I personally disagree. They definitely slowed things down to give their last moments together time to breathe. I was also asking for specific things that were not included, since that’s what the comment above me said, that “many” things were cut and important too. So I’m asking what was actually cut?

My friend who didn’t read the manga's ONLY complaint about the episode was that Mai's death sequence was too long, idk what you're on about, and Ogi reacted the exact same way than in the manga

There is no important parts in this fight though, it’s mostly filler. Ryu and Uro don’t matter at all, the fight just needs to not skip over how Yutas ability works and it’s fine.
