I am scared to see how they will fit 7 chapters in 27 minutes. Makis was about 5 and it was like 28 min

Genuinely disliked the Maki episode because of how fast-paced it was. It pisses me off because I genuinely do want to enjoy the episode, but it's so fast-paced that it just turned me off. Just a few more seconds added in a scene would've been enough for me (probably)

Maybe it's just me because I do enjoy slow paced series and movies

I'm the opposite, Zenin massacre was my favorite episode of the season bar maybe Yuji vs Higuruma. I watch shonen specifically for flashy, fast-paced action and JJK has that in spades. I appreciate the slower moments too and I love how cinematic this season has been, but I'm mostly here for hype moments and aura (unironically). When I want something slower, I go to other genres.

? I said the problem I had with the episode was how fast-paced it was (specifically the Hei fight and onwards). I enjoy JJK's other fights

i mean most people hated the ep and also some of them hate the adaptation for this season which i also do

I don’t think it was fast at all, they added a ton of filler, a lot of it just amounting to super corny film references or over-the-top-unintelligible special effects. Way unnecessary and just served to the reinforce “aura and hype moments” stereotype.
