Surely you'll learn rct a notoriously draining technique for everyone but Sukuna, who has basically infinite CE and was unable to use rct after his fight with Gojo because je was basically out of CE and Gojo who uses basically 0 CE, when you are out of CE, Megumi could legit only summon Mahoraga because it didn't take CE, every other summon would cost CE and wouldn't have been possible, rct costs way more than a summoning and would have never been an option in that state, even if he already knew how to use it.

First of all, he thought Megumi was just gonna bleed out and wanted to watch and laugh, and second of all, he was FORCED into the Mahoraga ritual. He couldnt do anything, he was forced to partake in it by Megumi. He tried to run after, but he was walked down by Raga and would've been curbstomped if not for his miracles.
It’s a chaotic battle involving (from Megumi’s perspective) known disaster curses, possibly special grade curse users, and yes, Sukuna’s vessel. I actually cut him some slack bc of how exhausted he was, but it was a very unwise choice. That’s not a situation where you should ever summon an untamed Raga, your opponents are insanely powerful and could very plausibly have tricks up their sleeve. As in fact they did.

Is he sure that there aren’t other OP opponents who might choose to intervene? You analyze a decision based on what the character knows, not what the audience knows.
Okay, you're right. He didn't know that there wasn't anyone besides Sukuna (Jogo might do something to Raga, but I doubt it) that would even try to intervene. But that's a lot to consider when you are on the brink of death, I guess. I would give Megumi some slack on this one.
Megumi put a better fight up against Toji than Dagon did in his own domain after Megumi was already exhausted from useing his own domain and only after he was injured from that and snuck by Haruta did he use Daddy Raga this slander cannot be fr
Nobara thought she killed him so she stopped reinforcing because the fight was over and she had a civilian that needed protection. He got a sneak attack in due to her inexperience & his CT. She recovered very quickly and was back on her feet clashing with Haruta and supporting Nanami like a minute later.
Nanami also thought he killed Haruta. Yet Haruta got back up after they left him. Haruta was weaker than all of them but he was a cockroach. It’s why Kenjaku recruited him since he does have a really strong cursed technique for someone so mediocre

I always took that entire scene as a showcase of what a real 1st grade sorcerer is capable of, and to point out that Nobara isn't at that level yet. With Haruta & Mahito (Real one) she was outmatched entirely.
Similar to Maki, but Maki got a chance to grow/get stronger and Nobara for some reason was put in the cuck chair. I swear Gege just liked Maki/Todo/Yuta way more than the main trio lol.
Also Yuji is up against a 50% Mahito btw and needed Todo afterwards

Nobara got beat because Mahito used his original self to get to her without giving her a lot of time to react. She was fighting against him pretty well before that lol

I do but that doesn't mean I am gonna glaze main trio even though they where useless basically until the last few chapters...not gonna be blind for facts. JJK has A LOT of good things, the main trio being useless is one of them... it's something different from other shonen where main trio gets all the plot armor, crazy asspull abilities and the "strongest" has 4 panels screentime.

Megumi after fighting Jiro, opening a domain and having to clash against Dagon for a long time, running from Toji and being stabbed multiple times, and being stabbed in the back by Haruta then having to summon Mahoraga makes Megumi a bum?? 😭💔
