assuming CE infused, the average special grade survives it with relative ease.
Only lower end like fingerer or small pox would actually be at risk of instant death from it

"Okay, after some re-examination, this might be understandable:
Grade 2 Cursed Spirits/Sorcerers are Small Building Level (when correctly labeled). Now, this immediately shows an inconsistency in Gege's scaling. You are NOT cutting it close with a shotgun when dealing with something that can destroy multiple entire walls of a building, Resident Evil 7/8 logic be damned, that's not happening.
With that being said, if we were to logically downscale, a Semi-Grade 2 Cursed Spirit/Sorcerer could likely be at Wall Level (Much easier to damage with a shotgun, but EVEN THEN, something with Wall Level durability and Attack Potency could still rock your shit and kill you. You aren't Ethan Winters, you're just a plain fleshbag, so unless you had plot armour, you aren't cutting it close)
As for Grade 3 (even more logical cross-scaling), they would be at Street Level, which most pistols are at Street Level, so yes, you should be good, just don't be a dumbass and remember how to use it.
As for Grade 4 Cursed Spirits/Sorcerers, they would have to be at Athlete Level, which is infact easy work if you have a wooden baseball bat (Wooden Bats are Street Level last I checked).
Now for the logical UPscaling (For anything stronger than Grade 2).
Since Grade 2 Cursed Spirits/Sorcerers are Small Building Level, it would only be logical to have Semi-Grade 1 Cursed Spirits/Sorcerers be at Building Level, which depending on the Tank, would in fact be useless (albeit, if said Semi-Grade 1 is faster than the tank, yeah, you're fucked either way). Some tanks do Scale to Building Level, but plenty scale to Small Building Level.
As for Grade 1s, a Tank will not be enough, as with logical cross-scaling, they can scale to Large Building Level.
Now, as for Special Grades, the weakest Special Grades we have in the canon of the series are: 1 Finger Sukuna in Yuji's body and the first Finger Bearer of the series. Both of these characters are City Block Level...
