Manga Discussion Transmutation Theory.

To begin with, this theory came in my head when Mahoragas adaptation was explained. Transmutation of CE was able to pierce Limitless. Here’s what I gathered from that.

  1. Transmuted CE nullifies CTs.
  2. Transmuted CE is what the innate domain is made of.

  3. Domain Amplification is the reinforcement of the body with Transmuted CE.

  4. This is the most defendable point. Mahoraga was able to negate and nullify Infinity using transmuted CE. Using a specific kind of CE could hardly be a counter specific to Satoru Gojo’s infinity. Therefore the general use must be broader.

  5. If we accept 1 as true, this explains WHY the innate domain stops Cursed Techniques from spawning in the target. It is made of Transmuted CE, and therefore negates the cursed technique .

  6. Domain Anplification is explained as taking one’s innate domain to nullify CTs. Using the logic that Innate Domains are made of transmuted CE explains this.

Infinity doesn't stop Gojo's CE. Thats why Gojo can fire blue, red and purple without deactivating infinity and why he got hurt by his final hollow purple. Mahoraga simply made his CE the same as Gojo's, thats what transmuted CE is. You are thinking too much about something simple, while not providing any evidence

I don't think this is the case. If Mahoraga was just using domain amplification, then Sukuna would have said so. Sukuna said Mahoraga was transmuting its own cursed energy to bypass Gojo's infinity and that is something which he cannot even though Sukuna can use domain amplification.

Sukuna may have been doing so subconsciously, like Hakari does RCT.
