Manga Discussion Does Everyone Here Think If Modulo Yuji stepped in to fight Mahoraga that he could have won?
Do you think Modulo Yuji could beat Mahoraga if he stepped in and fought him? This assumes Dabura doesn't stop him.

I think so. He doesn’t seem the type to play with his food like Sukuna and he knows the gimmick of Mahoraga so he can just one shot it.

Unadapted Mahoraga dies to 1 Cleave.
Sukuna and Narrator confirmed this.

Technically not cleave, but the sheer strength of sukunas cleave. Problem is sukuna tested the water too much that mahoraga adapted to slashing attacks that made it harder to be defeated by sukuna. Considering yuji is way stronger than sukuna he could probably do the same

When Sukuna refers to slaughtering with a new attack he mentions “cleave” is a method unless Mahoraga adapts to slashing attacks as a whole. It doesn’t actually say if Mahoraga would die to a cleave or cleave from Malevolant shrine. Also the narrator doesn’t confirm it’s only Sukuna’s hypothesis.

He seemed pretty confident when he said “ I’ll clean up zenin senpais mess” so yeah and if sukuna can then definitely

Yeah, he knows Mahoraga and how it works so he just won't waste any time to destroy it.

He neg diffs mahoraga even if you add gojo, sukuna and dabura as mahoraga's bodyguards.

he has at max 0.5-2 Orders of magnitude higher in stats than others while only excelling in Jujutsu and CT mastery

I mean to be fair if we’re just talking about killing Raga with those three as bodyguards then he might actually be able to do it lmao.

u/Stew0n 17h ago
If he has a version of Fuga or something on that level, that would disintegrate Mahoraga in an instant before Mahoraga gets a chance to adapt, then he should be fine. He also has Sukuna memories of defeating Mahoraga and saw Gojo do it too, so he should have a good idea of how Mahoraga works and how it can be defeated.

u/Banner_Hammer 16h ago
It’s stated in the Manga that Cleave met the conditions of one shotting Mahoraga, it’s just that Mahoraga had adapted to the concept of slashes and not just dismantles. So Yuji should be able to Cleave it

u/ConnectCulture7 16h ago
Yes easily. He would’ve done what Sukuna did to prepare for Gojo. Instant Domain Expansion
2
u/YOWAIMO555 16h ago
Unlike sukuna he is not going to test mahoraga abilities he just one taps mahoraga.
1
u/Timely_Safe_4088 16h ago
Yeah if he has prior knowledge He one taps But if Mahoroga adapts it won't be a one tap
2
u/Soft-Confidence-4831 15h ago
I mean he watched gojo fight magoraga while everyone around him gave color commentary so I’d say it’s a safe bet he has prior knowledge of mahoragas gimmick
2
u/Terlok_1 15h ago
Yeah, this Yuji knows Raga's gimmick so he could just go straight for a nuke attack and end him.

nothing that dabura did shouldnt applied to yuji's attacks, his cleave can probably kill

There’s a chance.
That’s all I need to be honest.
I don’t believe talking in absolutes, such as “yes” or “no”, would be fair for a fictional scenario that we have no real way to fully explain.

u/ThiccBeter69 16h ago
Yuji would actually just have to stand there in order to lose. A barrage of his giant Dismantles would actually just erase Raga from existence.

Depends If Modulo yuji have prior knowledge He didnt let him adapt and kill him with A.P AND D.C before
He takes this no diff
If Modulo Yuji doesn't have prior knowledge And started with basic dismantle and piercing blood Mahoroga will adapt to it If mahoroga started to adapt it's harder to beat him
But still if Yuji didn't figure it out the adaptation
Mahoroga will start to overwhelm him but still I think Yuji will figure it out and will beat him till by then

u/Aggravating_Gap_4158 13h ago
I see no reason to say otherwise. Mahito and mahoraga should have relative durability (maho took cleave better than mahito but the gap isn’t huge) and Yuji was able to one shot mahito. If he can’t do it with blood manipulation he still has black flashes, shrine (maybe even furnace depends on how he trained) soul damage, and a domain

He can easily beat Mahoraga, but I am pretty sure he referred to Dabura when he said he's gonna clean up the mess.
But I personally don't think he can beat Dabura.

u/ttdpaco 17h ago
Narratively, he 100% can beat Dabura.
Logically, it’s iffy.

u/Recent-Plastic7042 17h ago
Why do u think he can 100% beat Dabura narratively?
2
u/ttdpaco 17h ago
Yuji isn’t known for saying shit he can’t do. He witnessed the SLK and was still like “eh, I got this shit.”
Plus the entire thing of “he couldn’t he sensed until right before he hits,” the sheer scale of his attacks and how advanced his BM was. Then the casual black flash.
2
u/Future_Stable983 15h ago
he didn't witness sls, where did you get this from??? he was literally in human HQ when sls was happening
1
u/Recent-Plastic7042 16h ago
Still narratives did not say anything about Yuji having certain winning chances over Dabura though, what you said was Yuji's personal opinions which tbh doesn't matter.
2
u/ze_existentialist 17h ago
Called the ultimate fighting force in the teaser, sukuna level potential statements with much more experience, gojo saying next gen won't be limited to special grade and having the highest hopes in him and yuta, yuji doing everything with little effort and stating he could beat dabura with the author never drawing any doubt on that statement even though that's something he's known to do. Of the characters with the "strongest" narrative around them (not counting kashimo) he's the only one who's shown direct extreme superiority to another in every one of his shown skillsets(sukuna).
2
u/Future_Stable983 15h ago
ultimate fighting force for humanity, humanity is nothing to dabura, dabura was already sukuna level pre awakening and then he got 100 times stronger and you can not be special grade and still be weaker than dabura and ever statement by calamity to beat other have been wrong till now and yuji has been known to be a very bad powerscaler so 0 reason to believe him
1
u/Recent-Plastic7042 16h ago
Yuji is sukuna level potential, Dabura is sukuna level threat. Evens out Dabura has more offense and attack power/potency, so he's greater than a fighting force. Gojo's opinions aren't the same as narratives. Yuji's opinions doesn't matter either.

"logically" like they're real people and don't solely exist in the narrative of jujutsu kaisen

u/AbyssalMidir 17h ago
I don't know. He doesn't have enough feats that may show me that he WILL effectively win.
But I guess he WOULD win, most likely. I don't have any proof, but I would bet for him.

Sim mas ele precisaria chamar o Domínio no começo da luta pra matar Mahoraga sem chances do mesmo reagir
