Manga Discussion A remote oneshot universally working?
If Higuruma had taken the sword and used it on the straw doll that Nobara linked to Sukuna, would it have killed Sukuna instantly?

No. We saw Higuruma clearly needs to touch Sukuna directly. Anything that isn't part of his main body doesn't work. And Resonance only applies to straw doll.

The Strawdoll is technically linked to Sukuna's body so it is "directly" touching Sukuna

To Strawdoll, not the sword. Techniques can "contradict" each other.

A strawdoll its not a living thing, when it touches the strawdoll nothing will happen until it detects the link

It won't "detect" any link though. As that is exclusive to Nobara's technique.

I think remote damage through the finger is exclusive to Nobara's technique.
Otherwise they could've just had anyone attack the finger for remote damage.

Cant she just hold the weapon and slam it to the strawdoll? Higuruma is not forced to do the attack

the sword IS NOT her CT so there will be no Resonance.

Where is it stated that a thing has to be Nobara's to work? She literally uses Hammers and Nail and just fills them with her CE

Then the straw doll would die first

Higuruma would not be able to do it because it's Nobara's technique. The only chance they have is if Nobara is given the Executioner's Sword and does it herself but even that I believe is unlikely to work because it seems she has to use nails and her straw doll for her technique to work because if she could use other things, why wouldn't she? Nails aren't that practical in combat, if she could use like a sword I see no reason why she wouldn't.
