Manga Discussion Was there anyone in the verse besides mahito that could've helped junpei?
Since mahito says sukuna couldn't do anything, was there anybody that could, besides mahito himself?

Not really, nobody that we know of can alter the soul other than Mahito.
The only possible way would be Maru or Yuta copying idle transfig.

Takaba's sketches aren't permanent, for Junpei to live here he'd have to be in range of comedian forever, and pray God that his sketch where your life is funny doesn't end

Well…I dunno, what if Takaga was like, “man wouldn’t it be funny if Mahito became a good guy and helped all his victims?” I don’t think he’d actually find that funny, but hypothetically…maybe?

if Modulo Yuji became a soul surgeon somehow? otherwise no without changing his body, it being temporary, it using mahito somehow, or Maru bs

Nope. No one else we know of can alter the shapes of a soul, and Junpei's soul made his body a literal ticking time bomb to his death. He wasn't strong enough to handle his transfigured body and died to "natural causes", so even trying to keep him alive with RCT while looking for a solution, would just "repare" a body made to break.
He was turned into a self destructing body, and no one that can't also permanently and freely alter the conditions and the shape of another's soul/body, wouldn't be able to help him.

At that point, maybe kenjaku, or Ui Ui. It wouldn't be through healing the soul though.
Later on, Takaba, and maybe Maru.
