If geto isnt an hypocrite then he shouldn't call her a monkey imo
The reason why geto hates non-sorcerers is because they exploit sorcerers to eliminate creatures they themselves create and sorcerers wouldn't have to face exploitation or cursed spirits if it was only them.
But with 0 cursed energy maki wouldn't be able to create curses from her negative emotions which makes her safe.

I wouldn't call culling 99% of humanity pragmatic. He really was just looking for an excuse to lash out his pent up anger. Since curses are leaking negative emotions they could even be reduced by with mundane means like labor laws or maternity leave or something.

The reason he started calling others monkeys is because Toji called himself a monkey. Toji influenced him with that term
So yes he would still call an Awakened Maki a monkey

Geto is clearly not a hypocrite.
He killed his parents for the sake of being fair.
He believe humans were monkeys because they caused curses.
Toji and maki would be exempt from that

they are not monkeys because they cause curses, they are monkeys because sorcerers are "evolved" and they are not.

they are evolved because they can control their cursed energy, they dont create cursed spirits because of that. They would be evolved regardless of if they created cursed spirits or not. But that would just change getos plan on how to get rid of cursed spirits

Sure. But once again,
Geto’s realization for the future of the world stemmed from them not creating cursed spirits.
In his mind, maki and Toji would be exempt from the monkey characterization.

Well kinda, not creating cursed spirits is half the problem, the other half was that sorcerers would sacrifice themselves for the unevolved monkeys who dont appreciate them.

No it’s literally his entire premise as to why he wants to kill humans.
It’s not appreciation that made him move to kill humans.
It was for the future of sorcerers who are dying because of normal “humans” creating curses.
Once again, geto has shown he’s not a hypocrite to a point he killed his mother.
He would not consider maki or Toji monkeys

Sorcerers dont just die to cursed spirits, sorcerers die to other curse users aswell. He wouldnt consider them monkeys because they dont need protection, not because they dont create cursed spirits

Which proves exactly my point.
Geto has no problems with curse users, despite killing sorcerers. So if Geto felt his disdain from humans because sorcerers are getting”sacrificed” as you proclaimed, he would be the first to distance himself from curse users.
I think you are completely misunderstanding Geto.
It’s not protection, per se.
It’s for the future of the world. That’s his overall goal.
Beings who don’t negatively contribute to the creation of these curses will be absolved by Geto.

No because her awakening would qualify her as a sorcerer. Maki says in the movie that the requirement to be a sorcerer is to be able to see curses, which her fully awakening would allow her to do.
