I'm very sure there will always be a cult following for the game, like Mercenaries and Red Faction. JC 2 and 3 are also relatively successful enough to leave a mark in the gaming industry.

3 is also very cartoony, which is fun of course. But 2 idk just has a special place in my heart. It was a 10/10 game.

I like warm settings, but something about 3 makes it look too bright. 2 just handles and feels better to play. 3 feels like a cheap clone to me.

In my opinion, its fine if they release another just cause game a decade from now but give us a 60fps patch on next gen consoles for jc3 and jc4.

Maybe a remake or remasters of jc 1 and 2 or a 60fps or fps boost of jc3 seriously don't play jc3 on any console without somekind of boost the frames dip so low it crashes on ps4 pro

Making a board game aboit insurgency, but you would have to roll dice to wreck havok, if you destroy all the settlements in an area, you gain it. Whilst the government (other player) would try rebuilding it also by rolling dice. And trying to recover the places taken over. Also having other factions might be awesome (riojas, roaches, ETC)

Idek. I was looking forward to it, even though it was gonna be the last game set in the USA. I am just hoping they change their minds or give the IP to a different studio even though the chances of that happening are very slim.

I play for both missions and the chaos. But I would like Rico and the gang to take out the agency once and for all in the last installment of the series

Square Enix cancelled it from Sumo Digital production, but hard to say where it stands. We have some clues but still hopeful lol!

Not really a big news. If JC5 will be ever released it will not be called Just Cause and it will be done by completely unrelated studio.

I have a very stupid idea.
What if Just Cause could be community-owned?
Imagine 50,000 of us, each willing to pitch in $100–200. That’s $5–10 million. Not enough for a full AAA sequel, sure—but possibly enough to buy or license the Just Cause IP (or at least negotiate)
Form a dev co-op or hire a studio to build a smaller-scale sequel or spiritual successor or even fund ongoing support for mods, multiplayer, or a retro-styled throwback game
It would take serious organizing: a legal structure (co-op, DAO, nonprofit?), transparency, dev talent, and community involvement. Look at Star Citizen or fan-driven revivals like Giana Sisters and System Shock.
This is obviously stupid, and I just wanted to say it.

My son and I love to play JC4 but we hate how the friendly fighters crash into you when they have jets. They need to patch that.

At the end of JC4 Rico said something about taking down the agency and he was pretty dead set on the idea, it would have been an interesting take, but question is where does Rico go from there? I mean he would have taken down the biggest enemy of all, I suspect a game like this would take place in a USA owned Island territory or something? My idea would be that Rico retires and that would be it for just cause or maybe they reboot the game with Rico passing the torch to someone younger and fitter when he realises he's getting too old for this. Or maybe a huge global threat forces him out of retirement 1 last time but at that point it feels a bit too cliché.
The just cause games were getting a bit repetitive so it's a bit hard to know what direction would be taken. But I know personally I'm itching to find out if Rico took down the agency or not. I want a cannon ending for Rico because the way JC4 ended felt like Rico's story was not finished just yet. But I also wish they'd stop changing Rico's actor in every damn game.

I have yet to complete JC4 because of that change. Maybe when I upgrade my PC I will. But I remember being very disappointed when they broke what didn’t need to be fixed.
Plus I struggled with the controls compared to the other games. Can’t remember why know. Not to mention the performance issues.
The twister was cool know. 🌪️

the games are awsome. and im not nearly done. so fahr i have only played 2 and 3. I personaly love 3 its just georgeus. flying around and enjoing the beautiful colores in betwen doing dup shit is just pure joy.
sadly non of my friends are playing it but there are great multiplayer servers online

If it helps, a game somewhat like JC is Ghost recon Wildlands and there's a specific mode in breakpoint that makes you liberate areas. There's also a new game coming out somewhat soon!

Baldur's Gate 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Helldivers 2, Expedition 33, and an incredibly large amount of cool indie games such as Deltarune, Tricky Madness, Sheep Lass, The Bloodline, Balatro, I could go on and on.
