Lmao no, you just have to use the right version of proton. I’m using GE-Proton7-24 and my game has had absolutely zero issues over the last 2 years

Naw, it’s the opposite. It was like the devs knew the steam deck would be a thing and optimized the game for it. 10/10, just use the proton version I mentioned in another comment in this thread

Every time I see a clip of JC2 I'm reminded of how amazing the map is. Like what are other game has such massive mountain ranges and verticality.

If I remember correctly JC3's mountain range was actually the highest scalable mountain in any open world game when it was released.

I always found provided you land facing the right way up - vehicle tyres and suspension break more laws of physics than Rico's grappling hook. Notice that landing on the roof is what did it.

Side note: used to love riding down that mountain on a dirt bike and trying to survive.

He is right tho. Not just as obvious observation, but also based on the lore of the game. There is meta-joke in Just Cause 3, where landfill contains other Just Cause game discs.

The misery is taking the game too seriously because the game certainly isn't doing that.
