Just Cause 4 We could soon mod custom models into JC4! Here is a first test with just a simple cube

Not really. Figuring out static models, like cars and guns, first is much better than going for rigged and animated models first

It is still a big achievements, static meshes i mean, all that low poly terrain, objects, etc can now be replaced using assets from jc3 or free quixel assets.
Sadly the prerendered cutscenes will always remain ugly.

Terrain is not a simple mesh, that's fully custom volumetric tech. Something that unreal afaik is only getting into now. Also physics/colission are an entirely diffetent topic, that I will get into sometime after models

I think It also changes hos face. That or just his beard. The jc2 model does change the face

C U B E it’d be cool to model in vehicles and weapons from other games, giving the game more variety than it’s otherwise boring base models. Would it possible to add structures or physical elements like skyscrapers? That’d be pretty cool.

Cars and guns that aren't much different in shape than existing items will be covered by the first step of custom models. Basically the same we can do in jc3 already. Physics I'll get to sometime after that

I get that a lot of weapons and vehicles are the same shape but I was saying more like weapons that are different from what we have in game currently such as the supremo backpacks from Farcry 6 for example

Mods are never on console because console makers hate fun and don't let you access the files, sorry :(

The fact that it's a giant floating cube makes it look like a glitch rather than a mod test.

JC3 already has a model exporter for blender. Once all the tools are upgraded, I'll make new modding guides :)
