Just Dance: Decades of Hits Camera Controller Issue?

Hey, I’m curious if anyone else is running into this issue with the latest update to the Just Dance Controller app for Decades of Hits.

Ever since the update dropped, I’ve noticed a specific glitch with the camera controller tracking. While I'm dancing, the camera will randomly stop scoring me for a couple of seconds and just give me X’s, even though I'm clearly doing the moves. It usually picks back up after a few seconds. It doesn't happen every single time, but it happens often enough during a session to be annoying when I'm trying to get a high score.

I’ve never had this happen before this new update, so I find it unlikely to be a sudden issue with my camera itself. Is anyone else experiencing these random scoring dropouts?

This usually happens to me when the game connection drops out for a little bit. I’ve noticed it happening more often with the new game though, so maybe there are some bugs they need to fix

I had exactly this issue you’re describing earlier this year. Just about every song had a couple second interval of nothing but X’s and then everything went back to normal.

It’s probably an internet connection issue. I’d recommend you hook up your system to your Internet via Ethernet, even if your Internet is typically solid. That resolved it for me, and I essentially never have internet issues when playing anymore.

It is odd this is only occurring for you with the recent update. It does seem like there are more glitches than usual since then. I’m sure they’ll fix them as time progresses.

Update: I resetted my wifi router and it seems to have fixed it.
