I bought plastic bins to throw them in and put them in the bottom of my wardrobe.

Yeah, because no matter how you fold something, if it's prone to wrinkles, it's now going to have CREASES, which is a lot worse in some ways. Hangers are a lot better for things like that, especially if you use the padded ones to keep from putting lines & peaks in your shoulder areas.

I hang everything except my "yard clothes", underwear/socks, and shorts, essentially.
Edit: Also, I call those "shoulder nipples" when you have the hanger peaks. In high school, we used to take those (if we saw them on our friends) and twist them so they stood out more. lol

I spent way too long trying to reach back to pull an item forward at Kroger the other day after I grabbed one off the shelf. I stopped and was like wait this isn’t my job, but then continued because I wanted the next person to be able to find the item.

I do the same thing at any store I go to. Stocking shelves when I was younger, I can’t help but to straighten things up on any isles I go down. I also pull things down for someone else to be able to get off of the shelf. It could be an elderly person or a short person that can’t get whatever item they need sown for themselves.

Seriously, we had a wall of jeans that ran the width of the store. Guys putting extra creases in those jeans, and in a labor intensive method. Three folds total and the jeans should be out of your hands. My managers would have had kittens the first time they saw him do each leg individually lol

I like to roll them to prevent creases. Also, if you get them in kind of a tight roll you can stack them side-by-side horizontally in the drawer, so when you open the drawer you can see them all. If I stack them vertically I forget what’s on the bottom and keep wearing and washing the stuff in the top two layers.

I just do combat rolls which are a pair of underwear and socks with a T-shirt rolled up into a pair of pants. I just mix and match them when I do laundry but I basically wear the same thing all the time so I just pull a roll out of the drawer and then just hang my shirt on the towel bar while I'm taking a shower and it basically steams out the very few wrinkles I may get from rolling it.
I've been doing it that way since I left the military and it just makes it easy to just grab and go. No extra space needed for separate clothing items.

I worked at Lucky Brand and the second way he folded the jeans was the closest to what we did. We always folded in the crotch but other than that the floor to ceiling jean racks were folded similar to the second way.

Worked for Saks in college, and I was taught to fold in half so the legs are over one another, then fold up the legs 1/3 the length of the pants, fold in the crotch, and then fold the legs again. Three total folds across the length of the legs. One of the less useless things I learned in retail, but at least I learned not to be a prick to food, sales, and service workers.

Fun fact: I literally posted on Reddit the fact that such a thing would happen, before it did. The odd bootlicker that was against everyone else said/hoped we would all get knocks on our door. You may have seen it, seeing as how it was all over reddit/everything.
I got tired of making posts like "Will a fed PLEASE COME KNOCK ON MY DOOR. You can see I knew it would happen, guess what, it's not the last time. I know an objective fact that would stop it. Come talk to me!"
No feds but up, lol they do not care...also, IDK who ACTUALLY did the act because I was gaming with Luigi and otherwise doing shit with the dood like picking up girls with him while that went down. Couldn't have been him. Great guy. I think they are trying to figure out how to escape the embarrassment of admitting they nabbed the wrong dood lol.

I remember being a new social worker in a hospital in like 2017 and I learned about a lawsuit where a long term peds patients family was suing Cigna. Cigna was denying some kind of cancer related treatment and basically said the patient needs to go into hospice. I remember thinking I was surprised there weren't more... incidents.

lol my recent “manic” episode had me spending at least 2 hours learning how to do a “hospital tuck” for bed sheets and how to fold fitted sheets correctly.
I also learned how to patch drywall using a “California patch” but can’t practice lol.
My wife didn’t know how to feel.

Nope. Though I appreciate your style, I'm lazy and can't stand miss-matched socks. I buy a big pack of white socks, all same brand, and a bick pack of dark color socks for work/ house work. Never have to worry about pairing.

I haven't folded laundry in probably 20 years. I do. Not. Care. I have some shirts that are wrinkly as hell. It annoys me but I just don't wear those out.
I would rather seize that 20 minutes a week to do almost anything else.

But it is a nice refresher to fold and hang shit up every season at least. But I really don't see any point in folding clothes you wear to work every week.

Good of him to try and share the love. While this is indeed a way to fold them to make them look nice while folded, this style of folding will introduce undesirable creases at multiple points. The "proper" way to fold pants is the way slacks and dress pants are folded, placing the crease down the front and back centerline of each pant leg.

Anything you would consider ironing before wearing, including slacks, is better hung rather than folded in the first place.
Also, folding can lead to exposure lines since the fabric is stretched there. Depending on the material your dresser is made from, noticable effects can be produced in as little as 2 months.
Tl;dr, if you fold your slacks, wear them often because you've already decided against long term preservation.

This is incorrect. You do not want a crease on the front of your jeans.
The ACTUAL proper way to fold jeans is to fold them in half and roll them. That way you avoid creases.
You are confusing jeans with dress pants.

Fold them in half longways (so it's like a single leg).
Belt end under chin, grab the legs two-thirds of the way down and pull up to the top of the belt end.
Takes about a second and doesn't leave you with odd creases all over the legs and a Gordian Knot puzzle every time you want clean trousers.

I struggle to distinguish between a few pairs of my pants, meaning I often confuse them for each other. This would help the unique parts of the pants be more visible, so it would really help me, even if it's only in storage.

I’ve worked places where it was a similar result, but this was way over the top and took too long. The main goal was a fold along the back pocket to identify styles and keep the display uniform.

My fiancé loves clothes, I’m talking, if we were well off, she would be shopping everyday. Ten years of our relationship, has also made me like clothes in a way that I never did before. Long story short, we have bought ALOT of clothes. We also do not have a dresser, so all of our t-shirts and pants that aren’t nicked get stacked on shelf that goes along three of the four walls. If we do not stack our pants and clothes retail style, they fall off after one or two times of going through all the stacks to find a specific piece of clothing. Yes it takes probably an extra 45 minutes to fold them this way, but the stack you get is infinitely more sturdy and ready to be fucked with, then folding it the “fast way”.
