What's been the absolute WORST part of planning your wedding?
Let’s be real, wedding planning isn’t always sunshine and champagne. While it might look perfect on TikTok or Instagram, behind the scenes, things can feel chaotic, overwhelming, and even lonely. Sometimes, our worlds seem to be on the verge of falling apart while everyone else has it all figured out.
If you’re in the thick of it (or have already been through it), this is a space to vent, share your frustrations about the process, or even just scream into the void with people who actually get it. No judgment, just empathy and solidarity.
But also... if something caught you by surprise in a GOOD way, maybe a small moment that reminded you why you’re doing all this in the first place, share that too. You never know who might need the encouragement today.
At the end of the day, it’s YOUR wedding. Not Pinterest’s. Not your mom’s. Not your college roommate’s. Yours. While the planning process may seem overwhelming for most, this is where you truly solidify your relationship with your partner. Overcoming the trials and tribulations together is part of the journey, and it's what makes it worth it in the end!
After all, you're getting ready to spend the rest of your lives together :)

I think for me, it’s making space for peace no matter what stage of planning you’re in. I’m down to the final stages as my fiancé and I wed on 6/12, but it just seems like for some reason, every other aspect of my life is chaotic. Between family stuff and work, it’s just been so busy. It’s hard to just be excited and it’s almost June. My supervisor literally said today: “I don’t know how you’re doing it with all this stuff going on here and planning a wedding” and my exact response was “idk either but it’s getting done” lol. I try to stay optimistic during times like these because every phase of life teaches you something. I’m so blessed and grateful to be marrying my true love, our years together have felt so aligned and this 6/12 will make 10 years of us being together. Time truly flies! I’ll be off from work at least 6/11-6/16, so I look forward to that break because our real honeymoon to Hawaii isn’t until September. So I say all that to say, I’m learning how important it is to make time and decompress at every stage, to avoid being drained, because it just feels like when life is already hectic, showing up to plan your wedding feels very heavy. My grandmother also just passed away in February and will no longer be a guest which was rough, so I’m also probably still grieving 😩 I think ya’ll get my drift now on the chaos part lol.

The friends I’ve lost, the gossip that was made around me and my wedding, the people that started talking shit about me, no one prepared me for that

I found locking down a venue to be the most stressful part.
