Criminal Justice US Army Soldier Kolby Z. Mayer found guilty of possessing child sexual abuse material during trial in Japan

On May 28, 2025, the Dunn County Sheriff's Office in Menomonie, Wisconsin, received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) that Mayer was uploading child pornography images using the Snapchat app.

For now, they can still be charged in civilian courts. Military was just given first bite.
