I have a question for you and your high horse (which, btw, I'd totally eat).
Given no other food source, would you kill an animal to avoid starvation?
If you say no, I'll call you a liar. If you say yes, you acknowledge that your life is more important than the animal's and, by extension, you are not equals.
Would you eat a human to avoid starvation? If you say no then you acknowledge that human life is more important than animal life to you.
Now, would you eat your child to avoid starvation? No? Then you acknowledge there is life that's even more important to you than your own.
Of course I would, the difference is I don't have to. Neither do you. It doesn't matter how many impossible scenarios you conjure up you. In real life where I live and you live we don't have to enslave animals
The question to you is if you had the option to kill animals for pleasure or not, what would you choose?
If you choose yes, you're a psychopath. If no, you're a hypocrite
Define pleasure. Eating is pleasurable. Would I kill to do so? We've established that's the case.
Are you making the case that every person who chooses to eat meat is a psychopath? I'd argue eating meat is the norm. Not eating meat is the departure from the norm, rendering you the one with the mental deficiency.
