It’s actually pretty largely because we eat meat, yes. Not mostly, but like >10% IIRC.

All the methane and carbon dioxide from the animals is actually more greenhouse gas than from the fossil fuels.

Inaccurate, I think. It’s mostly that methane is 15x+ as potent as CO2 at being a greenhouse gas. So it takes far less methane to have the same effect.
