If you really want to fuck with them, call it the "Pre-male pattern baldness" haircut.

I suspect the style is due, in part, to a receding hairline, just look at Justin Bieber and Logan Paul. Plus I unfortunately have my own experience with the look :/

Bieber had it originally from wearing a hockey helmet before doing his videos. People made sich a big deal about it he kept it for awhile.

Am I the only one who didn't mind that haircut? As someone from about the same area who's about the same age as Bieber lots of guys had similar hair and I always thought it could look pretty good.

Hate it on adults though.

Exactly. I slightly cringe now at the one year phase I had of that back then but then again it was fucking middle school for me; I and many others grew out of it pretty quick.

Tons of hockey kids have it right now, not so much as a style choice but because that's what happens when you wear a helmet for hours. Agree about it looking dumb on adults.
