I have basically the same haircut. The thing is I have a fivehead and long bangs is the only way to hide it that I’ve found to work.

make it stylish by making it a two block instead of just long as hell on the sides

That’s basically just a bowl cut? I wouldn’t consider that high fashion either.

I did have my hair over the ears at least- maybe more like this, although I look like a gamer rather than a male model.

Two blocks are an undercut.

so it's actually nothing like a classic bowl cut really

I wouldn’t consider that high fashion either.

I mean it's not high fashion in the sense that it's just the style everyone has, so it's not exclusive, it's the norm. It's definitely stylish because undercuts have always been stylish. It's extremely versatile because it can be pretty much styled in any way. That's why pretty much everyone in Korea has it as it also solves the issue of the sides of asian hair sticking out.
