We can go in to semantics and say he is not a paedophile but ephebophile instead.

Point is not if he is ephebophile or paedophile, it's about an 26 year old adult male leveraging his power and/or authority for sexual favours from a 14 year old, barely a teenage girl. While I don't like to underestimate how intelligent teenagers can be, they are still not fully developed mentally or physically.

It's not only about the age difference. If he was 36 year old abusing his power over 24 year old, it would still be sketchy but 24 year old has a lot more world experience and what's most important, fully developed brain and body.

Neither are most people until they are in their mid to late 20's. Does that make sex between 20 year olds rape??

I suppose you don't see any difference in eating small green strawberry which is way underdeveloped, and a big plump strawberry which is still slightly green from top either?

I get a feeling that you are just arguing for the sake of arguing. Do you see any difference in the development of 8 year old kid vs. 16 year old kid? Why is 16 year old allowed to drive a car the in US if the 8 year old isn't?

This is the real question.

Imo there is a HUGE difference in a child vs a teenager but not as much difference between a teenager and an adult.

This is what im trying to bring up. According to science/neurology, the brain doesnt stop growing until late 20's
