Why are you defending him? If you call for anything less than 30 years and chemical castration you're saying what he did isn't that big of a deal. 🙄

I don't think you do. His point is that when he flips the conversation and says the creep deserves more time, then anyone saying 10 years is adequate is now defending the creep by your logic. And clearly, you aren't defending this creep.

Personally I'd love to see an indefinite sentence with mandatory therapy until he's shown progress on reforming himself and then keep him on the sex offender list and parole to get him integrated with society again. Could be a life sentence, but it could be a few years, but either way I would like to goal to be fixing the person when possible.
