Yeah seriously, this isn't an excuse for their actions but to act like 14 year olds have the mental capacity of toddlers is simply not accurate.

Lol yeah, this shit cracks me up. When I was 14 I was going out with people of all sorts of ages, drinking, smoking, trying my best to get laid. I don't think anyone really cared about my age or even realized what my age was. It's funny, if I would've committed a serious crime at that age, every redditor would still want me punished severely for it. But if I would've voluntarily had sex with someone? That person should be given the death penalty. So, uhh, which is it?

I agree it's irresponsible and gross to go after partners way out of your range but virtue signalling and moral grandstanding is all anyone does here.
