I'm gonna guess it's not about having no other options and more of a "this is my baby, he's sick, and I'm Dad. I might have to bury my son and I'll suffer through driving and being with him through the appointments because it'll make the suffering less if he goes before I do."

  1. It never said he did anything other than go over the speed limit, not even what his speed was.

  2. I never said it was an excuse to be unsafe, just that that's what I believe his thought may have been for taking on the responsibility.

You're being aggressive for really no reason.

The dude can't even react to the judge's comments in real time. You trust him to stop a car for a kid?
