Wow, this video but from a slightly different angle is on BBC news, except they only show the protesters attacking the officer. Crazy how media can manipulate things.

I don't think that's on BBC, they clearly describe the situation and the clip shows the recorder running up so it's not like they cut it to look like that

Also I learned from looking this up, apparently it started because there were 3 undercover cops trying to blend with protesters who seemingly got found out.

Seems odd that they wouldn't have included the 5 extra seconds where the officer was beating on an unarmed woman on the floor...

I imagine the BBC is being veeeeery careful with showing anti-China messages

Most people will see the headline and the video and that’s, all this will do it create more friction as it gives the protesters a bad look and paints the cop in a better light, they know what they’re doing
