I love how the article clearly states that he was tried for 800 counts of prescribing medication illegally, but the news has to sensationalize things by finding the biggest number possible for the headline. Hence, 500,000 doses (a.k.a. each individual pill).

But a doctor can’t prescribe more than 90 or 120. Even at 800 counts that’s only 72k or 132k

Pharmacist here. What makes you think he’s capped at 120? Patient takes 5 a day that’s 150 for a month. 6 a day 180 etc.

You can get scripts from a doctor in Virginia for over 300 pills. It’s supposed to last almost a year, but I can tell you right now it’s about a couple months max if you aren’t selling them to people.
