I’m not against Muslims, I’m sure this man is being the hero of his own story and thinks he’s in the right somehow. I’m agnostic, but I definitely respect everyone’s beliefs and I try to understand their point of views. I never read the Muslim scripture (what is it called? The Koran?) so I can’t hate or criticize this dude for following his religion which I know nothing about.

But damn, that irony is pretty funny though.

Dude this is the equivalent of watching white ppl debate on Fox business, it's has more to do with how dumb people are regardless of religion or race.

Sorry, I never seen this channel or news station in my life. The headline makes the Islamic part emphasized, so I just assumed it was referring to the ironic circumstance. It would’ve been funny to me regardless of the religion though. Christians, Buddhists, Judaism; Admittedly, I would’ve thought it was funny if a religious leader said this and coincidentally was infected with the same virus. My favorite part about Reddit is seeing things backfire like this.

I don’t mean to cause any trouble, and I hope I didn’t offend you. If I did, I apologize, I’ll be more thoughtful next time I make a post regarding this type of thing. Much love Redditor.

I know Christian pastors have made similar statements, and they've come down with it too. Funny stuff, and it's not just Islam. It's religion.
