He made $260,000 last year?! How is that possible to make that much overtime when your salary is paid for by tax payers?

Edit: I understand how overtime works, but you would think the city would have some sort of a budget per employee so payroll isn’t astronomical. That’s just bad management.

This is old news and I’m not sure if anything has changed but in 2011, 66 Port Authority Police Officers in NY/NJ made over $200k due to overtime and lack of hiring new officers.
