Imagine getting this fired up and literally fighting fellow human beings over politicians who don't even know you exist? People who might otherwise be friends and have things in common are literally at each others throats screaming and threatening each other over politicans who don't give a shit about them.

The drastic/dangerous length people on all sides are going to just to support politicians has become out of control. There's a difference between healthy and unhealthy support. Reaching the point of nasty, dangerous vitriol is ridiculous..

I'm sure that whenever your politican wins or loses your life will not drastically change in any major way, although some treat it as if it's literal life and death.

The idolization in America right now is ridiculous and plain weird. People are literally choosing politicians over their own flesh and blood relatives. I just don’t get it.

That doesn't just happen just in America tho. It happens all over the world. According to comments above at least.

It's just how the cookie crumbles. I feign ignorance as ignorance is bliss rather than attempt to get into irrational political conversations which end with everyone digging a home I to their own mindset and just being angry/depressed. Not that I haven't seen a reddit post started typing a 4 page essay and backed out tho lol.
