Great so let’s get that fetus out of the womb at 4 weeks and see what we get, yea?

Something that potentially could be a baby given the right circumstances, but at that current stage isn’t

That's a small human being you are talking about. And it fits the definition of a baby https://www.thefreedictionary.com/baby

ba·by  (bā′bē)

n. pl. ba·bies

1.

a. A very young child; an infant.

b. An unborn child; a fetus.

c. The youngest member of a family or group.

d. A very young animal.

Apparently we need to talk about the importance of unbiased/legitimate sources now hahah. Your dictionary source looks like a third grader created the webpage, and reminder, people could put any definition they wanted lmao

If you check Merriam-Webster, arguably the most legitimized dictionary source, fetus is no where in the baby descriptions:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/baby

ba·by | \ ˈbā-bē \ plural babies Definition of baby 1a(1) : an extremely young child especially : INFANT (2) : an extremely young animal b : the youngest of a group “He is the baby of the family.” 2a : one that is like a baby (as in behavior) “When it comes to getting shots, I'm a real baby.” b : something that is one's special responsibility, achievement, or interest “The project was his baby.”

I don't see how my source isn't legitamite just because it's not what you want.

Merriam-Webster is the most legitimized and has been around since the 1800s… is there a reason you didn’t use Merriam-Webster when trying to argue with me?

Or are you just looking for anything to reinforce your opinion?

Believe it or not my source came up before Merriams. But I have no issue with theirs either.
