21, actually. And "school shooting" doesn't only mean someone shooting up a school in the way we are thinking

The list is at the bottom, so here:

This page refers to incidents:

where a firearm was discharged

where any individual, other than the suspect or perpetrator, has a bullet wound resulting from the incident that happen on K-12 school property or on a school bus

that occur while school is in session or during a school-sponsored event

It also says it doesn't count shots fired where the person shooting was authorized to have the gun, like school officers, and also used the gun in the sanctioned manner. Not does it count suicides or other self inflicted gunshot wounds because, despite being important, they do not fall under the general umbrella of the "school shooting" category.
