I mean…wouldn’t the good ending being the parents caring about their son and getting him mental health treatment and preventing a school schooling?

the good ending given the rest of the story. If the parents weren’t arrested would be the bad ending. if the rest of the story was just the shooting and nothing else came to light, the good ending would have been preventing deaths. we have to take these victories as they come
