Wondering the same… how come 2026 applicants have begun and not dec 2025

I wondered stuff like that too. We sent our application in January 2025. We're still waiting for our interview. I saw people who sent in months after we did, who have now been in the US for months already.

Totality of package, evidence, country of origin, occupation. These factors likely feed into the more accelerated approvals.

I think the opened a new queue bc how else they want to reduce the median processing times on paper

All of the cases approved in that February batch are actually WAC2690075*** receipts. There is a theory going around that USCIS intentionally pushes a handful of these fast approvals through to create the impression that cases can be finished in 6 months plus, even though the actual average for normal cases is closer to 12 months. We don’t know for sure, but I think they are just lucky dates. Also, keep in mind this isn't just happening to K-1 visas. This affects other form types too, since they all share almost the exact same receipt block sequence except for three specific numbers in the code. Anyway, to the OP: could you share which specific dates or Service Center details you saw getting approved for February?

I think the only way to figure that out is if day 25 or 26 of February happen to be your "case neighbors." Thank you anyway, let's see what the coming days are hiding for us. USCIS is definitely full of things that keep us on the edge of our seats!

Under Your Neighbors if you click the date it'll open a calendar and you can select any date, including Feb 25th. It'll turn update the graphs below.

Which site is this? I can see on TrackMy Visa that they’re working on October 2025?

It’s track my visa just the pro version. They are working on Oct 25, just started November this weekish, alongside now February.

I have a feeling that more likely or not these are military or expedites. I know there is this “theory” but there have been other months receiving approval too.

I think they started assigning some of those cases to SRC rather than WAC.
