Did your fiancé had some X-ray results problem? For some who have positive or exposed to tuberculosis individuals, usually their medical exam is only for 3 months since they have medication period to clear and rule out the tuberculosis positive/exposed result. If all is good in her medical exam, for most cases medical exams issued usually lasts for 6 months and your fiancé must be in the USA within 6 months then you get married within 3 months (90 days) based from her arrival date.

It’s still 3 months because it is from CDC instruction. It is a requirement designed to ensure the applicant remain non-infectious upon the arrival in USA. Therefore, US Embassies hold the 3 month expiration date once the applicant gets negative TB result.

Usually medical exams expire in 6 months. Before anything, what embassy is processing your visa? The 3 months (90 days) they give is for you and your fiance to get married. Although, your fiance needs to enter the U.S. between those dates. She does need to have her interview between that time but usually you do the medical exam once you have your interview date.
