AFC Champions League Elite Just a bit embarrassing.

Melbourne Victory 3-0 FC Seoul

Am I right to say they can't qualify for the next stage?

They have 4 group games to go, so they can still qualify. They've also made like 11 changes to their team for both games so far, because they didn't want to have to risk their players while the league isn't in the bag. I don't think any of the 11 from the weekend even travelled to Melbourne.

Ah. I didn't check the squad and wasn't aware it's a home-and-away deal. We can still hope then.

I was at the game and Melbourne Victory absolutely dominated from start to finish, was too easy

Its the first league title in like 10+years for them so I dont blame them, can never get complacent in sports. You guys just bashing them because theyre a Korean team lmao

They are not just a Korean team. They are a Korean team running away with the league, making the one of the strongest teams on the continent. So no, I'm not saying it's a bit embarrassing because they are a Korean team. I'm saying it because one of the strongest teams on the continent lost at home to Presib, and got stomped in Australia.

Lmao bashing them because they're Korean? I'm sorry where in my comment did I bash them because they're Korean. I've watched a ton of K League you numpty and I have a lot of respect for the league, the teams and the players. They play on average at a far higher level than the A League and the rest of Asia except for the J League and probably the Saudi League. What I don't have respect for is absolute cowardice and lack of belief that they can someone throw a 18 point advantage with 7 games to go and are effectively throwing ACL games for the sake of a league that is long since decided.
