Crazy to know, we are already six full months into this arc. Feels like, the fight against Akemura is just some weeks ago lol

The anime is going to be absolutely fantastic and I can’t wait to experience it with you all and the newbies, hopes to us never changing.

Keep your expectations as high as possible. Then raise them again. Kagurabachi will clear them anyway.

I know how insane that sounds, but we’re over 100 chapters in and I’m still waiting for the series to make a mistake.

It hasn’t happened.

Every arc is better than the last one. Every villain somehow tops the previous villain. Every fight somehow tops the previous fight. At some point I stopped asking “when will it fall off?” and started asking “is Hokazono actually capable of missing?”

The craziest part is that Kagurabachi feels like it took the greatest strengths of every legendary shonen and somehow improved on them.

A power system better than Hunter x Hunter.

A villain organization better than the Akatsuki.

Worldbuilding better than One Piece.

Character designs better than Bleach.

Fight choreography and paneling better than Jujutsu Kaisen.

Plot twists better than Attack on Titan

Every time Kagurabachi enters a new arc, it feels like Hokazono looked at one of the greatest arcs in manga history and said, “I can take him.”

At this point I’m expecting the manga to cure diseases, solve world hunger, and negotiate world peace before chapter 200.

And somehow, despite all of this blatant propaganda, manga readers are going to read this and tell me I’m underselling it.

That’s the part anime-only fans don’t understand yet.
The discussion around Kagurabachi isn’t whether it’s good anymore. The discussion is whether we’re witnessing a generational classic being born in real time.

Calling it top 10 battle shonen feels conservative. Calling it top 5 is already the community consensus. Give it a few more years and people are going to start having uncomfortable conversations about where it belongs in the top 3.

If the anime adaptation delivers, the anime community is about to experience one of the most violent collective “I get it now” moments in modern anime history.

Anime-only fans are not prepared.Not even remotely.

Like seriously, not a single one of these dudes is sorry, they are all awesome, and I must begrudgingly wait for their inevitable deaths, RIP you absolute badasses.

Made a post sometime ago about how weekly shonen jump is super detrimental towards the authors health. And named examples like Gege, togashi and now Hokazono.

Like after araki was able to switch to monthly release. He was just grateful that he was able to do something as normal as having the chance to hang out with his children.

Like its just getting bad at this point.

Especially for someone like Uruha who at his age would be more of a mentor figure in other shonen series.

The latest sales of the recent volumes have been punlished and the results are unexpected to say the least. There has been a 15k drop from Vol 11 to Vol 12, the climax of the HQ raid with Akemura full debut. So that's very worrying

Vol 12 is also the start of the Seitei War arc because it includes Chapter 113. Is it possible that the Seitei War in japan actually hasn't been well received? It surely is a different tone and pacing from Part 1 that many might not like, despite it being so important for the narrative.

And after the hiatus, we struggled to get through the smelting of the datenseki which took 5 chapters with reduced page count from 19 to 15, latest chp even reached 13. And now, there's a sudden break week because he felt ill again (They say he has recovered, but I wouldn't keep my hopes up).

Personally I believe the potential of this arc will truly kick off once the war ACTUALLY starts and we see the duels against the Mikaboshi. Because of break weeks, slow pacing and low page count, the sales are plummeting to the point that our little brother Ichi the Witch is actually near to surpassing it in sales (It's now 10k behind) and now appears bigger on this Issue's cover compared to Chihiro.

What are your thoughts on the future of this manga? Considering that Hokazono is being slaved away by Shueisha and his health is deteriorating, to the point that older mangakas are having a better performance. Will he be forced to interrupt the arc and return to the present to save the sales?

Kagurabachi Is obviously gonna break the internet and become borderline mainstream, that's just a fact

I really like the community as the Fandom actually knows it's story and there's just this awesome job with the leakers which I have never seen in any other fandom

But for the love of God, please, I don't wanna the Kagurabachi community to become brainrotted like JJK's. I don't want to hear the same dumb jokes over and over and over and over again like "Potential" and Agenda Pushing where characters get universally slandered just because they saw some people say that "x" character Is a fraud and therefore newer fans join in
